Laika Studios is one of the largest users of robotic technology in the film industry, and Hall of Fame inductee Steve Switaj is the Head of Camera and Stage Engineering at the studio. This presentation was originally given at Siggraph '18, and illustrates how Laika uses robotic technology to shoot their animated features.
